Lower Barn has all the benefits of being off the beaten track but with the Lost Gardens Heligan a mile up the road, the Eden Project, beaches and even shopping in Truro all within 20 minutes drive. Even Lands End is only an hour away. With breathtaking coastal scenery, picturesque fishing villages and country footpaths, this area of Cornwall has superb Gardens and fine dining, not to mention amazing beaches. Pentewan beach, just one mile from Lower Barn has a Dive school for those deep sea fans and you can hire canoes or cycle the woodland trail to the Eden Project.
The Roseland peninsula is 20 minutes drive away and is virtually undiscovered for walks, golden sandy beaches and Melinsey Mill en route for a fab cream tea. Charlestown is famous for its Tall ships and quaint Harbour, I even starred in my one and only film as an Extra. I told my dad it was my big chance (Anything to get a day off school!). I hope just given you a small taste of this beautiful county to make you want to come and sample it for yourself.
